Where is EditorMuse located?
Located in Austin, TX, we work with writers all over the world.
How long has EditorMuse been in business?

About the Owner
Candice Adams received her BA in Creative Writing from Dartmouth College and her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Notre Dame. While a graduate student at the University of Notre Dame, Candice worked as a tutor at the University Writing Center, helping undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff become better writers. After completing her MFA program, Candice worked as a copy editor for the City of Fort Worth and at DHS Literary Agency in Dallas alongside David Hale Smith, the CEO. When Candice moved to Austin, TX, she began working for Newgen-Austin (formerly G&S Book Service) as a Project Editor/Coordinator, overseeing all aspects of book production, from copy editing manuscripts to preparing and shipping final files to printers. In 2007, Candice evaluated manuscripts and advised authors on the publishing industry as a Book Consultant/Acquisitions Editor for Greenleaf Book Group. Most recently, Candice worked for the Texas Legislative Council as an Editor/Proofreader for the 2009 legislative session.
Candice has also worked one-on-one with authors to prepare their work for publication. Her favorite part of editing is working with an author to bring out the best that a writer can do.
